Subjectwise strategy for Cracking SSC CGL Exam 2018




SSC CGL is meant for an average candidate, Reality is level of questions asked in CGL is of very basic level in subjects like reasoning, maths and English & Gk is factual.
  1. General Awareness- I have studied from the lucent descriptive and objective book. These books will cover all the static portion and the previous year questions. Study current affairs for the last 6 months before the exam from GKtoday or any other website of your choice. Revise all the material before the exam at least 3–4 times. Please do not ignore this section as it will determine whether you will just qualify the exam or will be a rank holder.
  2. Mathematics-Firstly solve all the previous year questions from reference books to get yourself acquainted with syllabus and type of questions asked in the examination. Mark all the questions in which you have some doubt or there was some new concept. In this way you will have around 40-50 questions in each chapter for revision. The number of questions may go up to 100 in advance maths. Revise these questions time to time. Maintain a notebook for important questions and formulae. Revise it time to time. Also you can see his online videos of maths on youtube for chapter in which you have doubt. No need to watch all the videos. Apart from this you can also solve mains mocks of IBTIndia for practice as this subject along with English carries highest weightage in CGL. You may get better tips for SSC Coaching Chennai.
        3.English- For vocab -Firstly learn previous year vocab. Apart from this you can go for word              power made easy. Revise the vocab time to time and maintain a diary in which you can write              the  words which you frequently  encounter in newspaper and on mock tests.
        4.Grammar- Study all the rules from any standard book like SP Bakshi or Neetu Singh. Solve            the exercises from them. Apart from that solve the  exercise and previous year questions from              Mirror of common error book as  the explanation in this book is very precise and there are lots            of exercises  in  it for practice.
        5.For comprehension and cloze test- Start reading newspaper and  novels. If you are novice to         the reading start reading the topic of your  choice   like sports and gradually move towards other          topics.

Essential details regarding RBI Manager (Technical – Civil ) in Grade B




Reserve Bank of India has notified various Grade A and Grade B vacancies for the following posts:
 (i) Manager (Technical - Civil) in Grade 'B',
 (ii) Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) in Grade 'A',
(iii) Assistant Manager (Security) in Grade 'A' ,
(iv) Legal Officer in Grade ‘B’ and
(v) Assistant Librarian in Grade ‘A’

All these posts carry different eligibility criteria as these are technical posts, therefore it is very important to know the essential details of the post you are willing to apply for.

Manager (Technical – Civil) post in Grade B stands first in the list in the notification released by RBI on 19.7.2018 and the last date for online registration is 9.8.2018. Let us discuss some essential details that one needs to know before applying for the post.

Essential details regarding the post of Manager (Technical – Civil) in Grade ‘B’
  1. Eligibility Criteria:
The foremost thing to apply for any post is to know the eligibility criteria before you sit for the registration process or else you will be wasting your time and money.

The educational qualifications for the post Manager (Technical – Civil) Grade B are that a candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with a score not less than 60% in aggregate of all the semesters or years. He or she should have the said qualification as on 1.07.2018. The desirable qualification is that he or she should have specialization in Structural Engineering, Public Health Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management.
  1. Experience
He or she should have a working experience of minimum 3 years after completing graduation where he or she has handled the responsibilities independently as an Assistant Engineer in any of the public or private limited company. The desirable experience includes the following:
 (i) Experience of administering construction projects in all its aspects and knowledge of PERT/ CPM techniques
(ii) Working knowledge of Computer in Structural Design in CAM/ CAD / evaluation and analyzing of tenders with special references
(iii) Working knowledge of Electro-mechanical services and electrical maintenance
(iv) Working knowledge in structural rehabilitation works
(v) Experience in Construction and Project Management
(vi) Experience in Maintenance of Office and Residential Buildings
(vii) Good drafting capacity.
  1. Age
Candidate applying for the post should be between 21 to 35 years of age as on 1.07.2018.Candidate should have born not before 02/7/1983 and not later than 01/07/1997. There is a relaxation in upper age limited for some special categories. The details of the special categories age limit are mentioned in the official notification of RBI Exam.
  1. Process of Selection
Examination process will include two papers namely Paper I and Paper II. These will be conducted the same day followed by an interview. The exam will be held both online as well as offline. Other details are mentioned in the table given below:

Note that Paper-I will observe negative marking for every wrong answer. Paper I will only be assessed if a candidate appears in Paper II also. Besides that Paper II will be assessed of the candidates who have scored considerably high score in Paper I according to the standards lay down by the Board. 

Question paper for the exam will be bilingual i.e in both the languages Hindi and English Medium. One can answer either in Hindi or English as per the options taken while applying for the post. The call for interview for the number of candidates will be decided by the Board only. Detailed Analysis of Prelims of SBI PO Exam 2018




SBI PO 2018 Preliminary exam had its first phase on 1st July 2018. Millions of aspirants appeared in this exam which makes the competition tough. To give a smooth run in the forthcoming exam phase of SBI PO 2018, let us discuss the detailed analysis of the question paper of first phase of SBI PO 2018 EXAM.

This time SBI introduced sectional timing of 20 minutes. A thorough feedback of this phase will enable the aspirants of the forthcoming phases to adjust the time management accordingly. English Language with Moderate Level

English Language section had a moderate level, but there was a difference in both the shifts. Second shift was easier than the first one. Reading comprehension had 5 questions with one question based on vocabulary. It was based on Economics based on the topic of investment and savings of customer.
