Due to recent
SSC Scam band call given by many students which has de-motivated the aspirants
of SSC CGL Exam 2018. They are waiting for the right time to choose for SSC
Exam preparation. Most of them have dropped the idea of taking any SSC CGL
Coaching as they are not sure of the exam’s notification. It is advisable to
keep your exam preparation intact rather than relying on the rumors regarding
non-examination of SSC CGL 2018. Even if it is not happening this year due to
some or the other reason, it will be held the next year. Make a proper strategy
to study for the exam as it is a competitive exam and you have to face millions
of competitors taking exam all over the country.
Strategy to follow to prepare for SSC
CGL Exam
1.
In case you are opting for self study looking into the present scenario, do not
purchase or follow more than one book per subject. Follow one reputed author’s
book as a resource book.
2.
All the sections are important to score well in the exam, therefore, never opt
for selective study. Give equal time to all the subjects especially when you
are preparing for SSC CGL Tier 1.
3.
Use your time judiciously and do not waste your time in any socialization or
social networking. It will diverge your mind and you will not be able to
concentrate much on your studies.
4.
Develop healthy eating habits so that you do not fall sick.
5.
To boost your energy level one can practice meditation. Wake up early morning
and practice it for 15-20 minutes daily.
6.
Make a systematic time table and follow
it religiously.
7.
Practice each subject chapter-wise after completing the syllabus. Take the help
of previous year question papers to give an idea about the exam pattern and
type of questions asked in SSC CGL Exam.
8.
Do not think about the result while preparing for it, develop a positive
thinking and keep on working hard to grab your dream job.
9.
Revise the topics already covered by taking topic tests. You can get readymade
topic tests by joining online test series. These portals provide you with proper
feedback of your performance which helps you to improve further.
10.
Complete the entire syllabus in 3 to 4 months and after that do rigorous
practice.
11.
Practice at least 50 new questions on each subject. Make a time table for
revision. Practicing 50 questions will satisfy your mind and you will be able
to work on your weak areas before going to the exam.
12.
Mathematics and English are such subjects which need maximum practice; give
more preference to these subjects by giving ample of time to practice.
13.
Reasoning and General Studies need presence of mind rather than to practice.
There are no rules to follow. These are scoring sections and easy to prepare
but do not ignore them.
14.
In case you wish to join SSC Coaching in Chennai, opt for the reputed one by
going through its background and results of the previous years.
15.
Do not waste your time on difficult topics rather leave it for the time being
and seek the help of a subject expert to understand the same.
16.
Do not forget to take care of yourself. Take proper sleep of at least 6 hours
to avoid any health problem. It will boost your energy level also. Having
sleepless nights in tension will not reap any fruits. Plan your day in such a
way so that you finish your syllabus and the revision during the waking hours.
Do not sacrifice your resting time, mind also needs rest.
Hope this strategy will suit your
purpose of qualifying SSC CGL Exam.
All the best!!!
