Due to recent SSC Scam band call given by many students which has de-motivated the aspirants of SSC CGL Exam 2018. They are waiting for the right time to choose for SSC Exam preparation. HOW BANK JOBS ARE DIFFERENT FROM CENTRAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES?

1. Working Hours

Bank officers do not have any specific timing to work; it can be stretched from 9 to 10 hours in case anything urgent comes up. They do not get any monetary compensation for extra hours devoted for the work.

There is neither monetary compensation nor any kind of recognition for their toiling for extra hours.  An IAS Officer has no such bounding he or she has fixed working hours. In case they work extra, they are duly compensated for the extra hours devoted.

2. Nature of Work

Bank deals with public dealings therefore work load has no limits, more the customers more is the work load. This increases the work pressure as customers today are very demanding. IAS Officer has his or her own department and limited staff to deal with for the work. It makes the working condition peaceful.

 3. Number of Holidays

Although number of holidays has been reduced in the last few years for bank employees but still it is more than any central or State government employee. Bank PO employees are not given any compensatory of for working on holidays but IAS or any other government employee is given a compensatory off to work on any holiday.

4. Rules for Leave and its Implementation

The bank staff cannot avail casual leave for half a day where as Central or State Government employee can do so. Sometimes the bank officers are not able to get the already sanctioned leaves due to any emergency or work schedule requiring his or her presence in the office. It amounts to lapse of leaves as they cannot avail all of them in the given time many a times. Central Government employees have set of casual leaves to take and if they do not avail then these leaves are paid with a suitable amount. Bank employees do not get any leave encashment. 

5. Transfer of job

Bank jobs are subject to frequent transfers with almost every promotion granted where as Central or State Government employees generally do not get any transfers in the event of being promoted. Even if they are transferred they are granted a nearby district within the same state. But bank employees are transferred to a place outside their home town and sometimes even in the remote area.

 All these features makes IAS as the most preferred job over that of BANK jobs but there is a limit to everything.

Is there any difference in syllabus between SSC CHSL Exam & SSC CGL Exam?

No, there is no difference in syllabus of SSC CHSL & SSC CGL Examination. These two are, competitive examinations which are conducted by Staff Selection Commission across India for 10+2 & Graduate students.
